Effects: Anti-Inflammatory, Enhanced Focus

When it came time to research and select the botanicals used in our blended pre-rolls, we knew right off the bat we were going to include mint for  it's widely recognized terpene profile. Mainly comprised of L-Limonene, Alpha Pinene, Beta Pinene, Cineol, and Octanol, mint has been known for it's therapeutic qualities for centuries, and has been the base for the most recognized scientific terpene research today.

Effects: Calming, Enhanced Sleep

When it comes to scientific research on terpenes, Chamomile has some of the most biomedical findings. Like mint, Chamomile has been used for its medicinal qualities for centuries. It is packed with 28 terpenes and 36 flavonoids, The most popular terpene being Bisabolol. Since Bisabolol is commonly found in cannabis, the pairing of the two flowers is gaining wild popularity for their synergetic calming effects. So whether it's in a pre-roll, salve, or tincture, Chamomile has quickly become one of our most popular blends at
Two Bears Farm.

Pumpkin Spice

Effects: Anti-Inflammatory, Relaxing

With its ingredients including the spices cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, and ginger, pumpkin spice is more than just an annoying fall trend. It's actually filled with important beneficial terpenes, one of which activates your body's naturally occurring endo-cannabinoid system, which jumpstarts our natural anti-inflammatory response. That terpene is called Caryophyllene, and it's highest concentrations are found in cloves, cinnamon, black pepper, and cannabis.

Effects: Uplifting, Euphoric

With a terpene profile dominated by Myrcene, and complimented by terpinolene and limonene, hibiscus is yet another botanical with centuries of medicinal use. Recognized for being uplifting and providing anti-inflammatory effects like caffein, hibiscus has even entered the ring as a reasonable substitute for coffee. It has also shown signs of being a strong antioxidant, which plays a key role in many of the therapeutic benefits of the use of hibiscus.

Effects: Pain Reduction, Enhanced Sleep

Lavender might be the botanical most recognized for its terpene profile, and all of the amazing therapeutic benefits it provides. Comprised of Caryophyllene, Alpha-Pinene, Beta-Pinene, Limonene, Myrcene, Linalool, Terpinolene, Terpineol, Nerolidol, and Canfene, Lavender is known for it's calming, pain relief, and sedative effects.  Research published in 2009 even shows that the terpene linalool (found abundantly in lavender) improves the immune systems resilience against stress, which could reduce risk for other ailments caused by stress.

& Clove

Effects: Anti-Inflammatory, Stress Relief

Since they were two of the most beneficial ingredients in our pumpkin spice blend, we decided to give them their very own flavor. Cinnamon and cloves both contain the powerful terpene, Caryophyllene, making this blend is ideal for relaxation and stress relief. Since Caryophyllene activates the endo-cannabinoid system, it can be classified as not only a terpene, but also a cannabinoid

White Sage

Effects: Soothing, Anti-Inflammatory

White sage is another botanical that has been used by the Native Americans long before modern medicine came along.Featuring Alpha- Pinene, Beta Pinene, Limonene, Myrcene, terpinolenone, and more, this terpene profile is linked to anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects that may lead to better overall health. While it may help with quality of sleep, white sage is known to be calming without being completely sedative. This makes it excellent for any time of day.
